Brief: What happens when a single challenge brings together twelve designers

from six different countries? "Orient-Orientation,' a 5th international design workshop

addressing the needs of Istanbul's first-time visitors.

Project: Playing off the "You say lemon, I say limon," project takes a personal approach

towards intercultural communication; our concept is not so much about product, but people.

The proposed "Lemon Organization," guves a three-day hosting of first-time visitors to Istanbul.

Preselected students/guides/families meet visitors at the Sirkeci Train Station initiating a

personal orientation to the city that benefits both host and tourist in an enriching experience.
